this is my cattoo! my best friends and i all have the same symbol slightly altered to each of us. i love courtney and lydia with all my heart and i’m happy we’ll always have this to connect us no matter where we end up. this was done by shane at shaman’s den in binghamton, new york.

My very first tattoo! My boyfriend showed me a picture he found online of “Why you should always sleep with a teddybear”. I fell in love with it immediately, and knew it needed to be put on my body. However, I wanted to tweak it to make it personal. When I was about 14, I fell into a really deep depression and started seeing shadows. It would get especially bad as I was laying in bed, in the dark, at night. I wanted the monster in my tattoo to symbolize the shadows that I always saw. In a way, my tattoo keeps me protected from the shadows that I still see. My teddybear is forever tattooed on my body to keep me safe. I had it done by Lauren McKenzie at Bound By Design in Denver, Colorado. She did such an amazing job! And it only took a little over an hour.
This is a tattoo i got reffering to the tv show “Ugly americans”. No meaning really but i love it. I got it done by my good friend and favorite tattoo artist, Tyler Hoare.
All done by (J!xx) Jay Evans at Emperor Tattoo in Nashville, Tennessee. The skull is a under the skin outlay of who I am. The way people should see me, but you have to actually have to know my structure to understand who I am. The henna tribal is a hard to follow path, such as life. I have three flowers on the other side of my arm, stating the growing beauty of Me(purple), my brother Stephen(blue), and my sister Molly(pink). The flowers are wrapped around a gun on the inside of my arm. The gun symbolizing the three of us go nowhere unprotected. Not by bearing arms, but by each other. Around the purple flower representing me, i have greek lettering saying, “And she brought me back to life.” Giving recognition to my best friend, Kaytlin Danielle Muszynski, who basically lifted me when I couldnt lift myself. I am not finished with the scene, but I will post as soon as I am. -Kayla Anderson
This is my second tattoo. Both have been from Little Johns Tattoo, in Greensboro NC. The artist, Gabe Sandy is incredible. He puts so much detail into all of his tattoos. This one took about 4 hours. This picture was taken two days after, so they are still red.
The reason they are on my hips, is I want to be able to see them instead of them on my back. My grandmother use to tell me about the dreams she would have about angels, and she always talked about how beautiful their wings would be. After the first time she told me about them, at a very young age, I fell in love with wings. My grandmother passed a few years ago, and I figured this would be a good way to remember her by, other then having just a portrait of her. I’ve always been fascinated with wings since I was little.
I’m very pleased at how they turned out and I am beyond excited to see how they turn out after fully healed. Which I know will be amazingly as my first one did. :)
